Ayodhya case posted to Aug 29
Rae Bareli, Aug 18: The Special CBI court hearing the Ayodhya demolition case today posted the case for next hearing to August 29.
After hearing both the sides, Chief Judicial Magistrate Vanshraj fixed August 29 for next hearing.
Earlier, defence counsels Mahipal Singh and Vimal Srivastava pleaded to include former MP Ram Vilas Vidanti, Baikunth Lal Sharma, Jagdish Muni and Champat Rai in the case.
Contesting this move, CBI lawyer K P Singh said the quartet were neither accused nor named in the case by either CBI or CB-CID.
The prosecution further sought to know on what basis the four wanted to be made parties to the case.
Mr Singh contended that they only wanted to further entangle the issue.
