Aid for Muslim students in higher studies: CM

Hyderabad, Aug 18 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the government would provide scholarships to poor rpt poor Muslim students, pursuing higher studies in the state.

Laying the foundation stone for post-matric Muslim Minority Hostel here, Dr Reddy said the government had allocated Rs 90 crore to provide scholarships to the pre and post matric poor minority students during this year. The amount would be increased next year.
