14 model railway stations in SECR

Bilaspur, Aug 18 (UNI) As many as 14 stations will be developed as model railway stations in Bilaspur, Raipur and Nagpur divisions of South East Central Railway during 2007-08, official sources said today.

The stations to be upgraded are Anuppur, Umaria, Naila, Pendra Road and Ambikapur in Bilaspur division, Bilha, Nipania, Bhilainagar and Dalli-Rajhara in Raipur division and Itwari, Aamgaon, Ramtek, Balaghat and Chanda Fort in Nagpur division.

Provision for retiring room, touch screen inquiry system, automatic vending machine, train-coach indication board, close circuit TV and beautification of station premises were included while developing a model station.

Fifteen stations in the three divisions were developed as model railway stations last year, sources added.
