Manipur: PULF militant shot dead by troops

Imphal, Aug 17: Troops of 32 Assam Rifles shot dead a militant at Samurou Khong, Imphal West yesterday.

The PRO of Assam Rifles said a cadre of People's United Liberation Front(PULF) was shot dead in the exchange of fire between the troops and militants.

The cadre was identified as Noor Rahman and one 9 mm pistol with one magazine and four live rounds and one DBBL gun with three cartridges were recovered, the PRO added.
