Prawn farmers submit memorandum to collector

Surat, Aug 17 (UNI) Prawns farmers from Olpad today submitted a memorandum to the collector urging for immediate relief.

The farmers have had to face severe losses during the recent rains, and over 9,000 families have been so affected.

The collector had constituted a committee to survey the losses.

The farmers have, however, alleged that the committee has not taken cognisance of the affected people.
