Mob attacks buses as boy dies in accident

Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 17 (UNI) A mob attacked and damaged some buses, when a nine-year-old boy was killed in a road accident in Nehru Nagar village here.

According to police, Shabad, who was riding bicycle was instantaneously killed when an APSRTC bus hit him.

Some local people and relatives of the deceased destroyed several buses.

Officials had to stop vehicles from plying in the route, because of the incident.

Nizamabad DSP Anjaneyulu reached the spot and brought the situation under control.

Negligent driving by the driver of the bus was initially found to be the reason for the accident, police added.
