Jumbo King opens stores in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Aug 17 (UNI) Ahmedabad today become the third city in India to host a Jumbo King fast food chain stores, the first two being Mumbai and Surat.

The Jumbo King (JK) made entry in Ahmedabad with the opening of two stores, located in posh Vastrapur Lake and Municipal market areas, and launched by film star Hrishitaa Bhat.

Addressing the media persons, Hrishitaa said, ''Ahmedabad is my home town. Its such a wonderful feeling to bring such a great brand to my city. Ever since I joined movies, Mumbai has been my second home and as a Mumbaikar I have always loved my vada pav and the sentiments associated with it.'' ''Here, Jumbo King is much more than just vada pav. Its become a snack for emerging metros, the ideal break in the middle of a hectic day,'' the film actress said.

Jumbo King managing director Dheeraj Gupta said there are plans to open more stores in Ahmedabad. ''Jumbo King plans to roll out 120 outlets across the country. Jumbo King has also finalised properties in Vadodara and Anand and will have 20 stores in Gujarat by March 2008,'' he added.
