Jose Padilla convicted on all counts in US case

MIAMI, Aug 16 (Reuters) Jose Padilla, the US citizen held by the military for 3 1/2 years as an ''enemy combatant,'' was convicted today on all three counts against him in a US terrorism support trial.

Jurors found him guilty of conspiracy to murder, kidnap and maim, conspiracy to provide material support for terrorism, and providing material support for terrorism.
