ING Vysya opens branch in Kolhapur
Kolhapur, Aug 17: Bangalore-based ING Vysya Bank today opened a branch here in Kolhapur, which is the 23rd in Maharashtra.
The Bank has 401 branches across the country, including 80 in the rural areas and is awaiting RBI nod for further expansion, Bank officials said.
The net profit after tax of the Bank has increased by 71.20 per cent from Rs 14.79 crore to Rs 25.32 crore during the quarter ended June 30.
Deposits grew by 25.80 per cent from Rs 13,106 crore as at June 30, 2006 to Rs 16,487 crore as at June 30, 2007. Total assets of the Bank registered a growth of 21.77 per cent, while the credit:deposit ratio stood at 71.63 per cent.
