India thrashes Scotland by 7 wickets

Glasgow, Aug 17: India won their one-off one dayer against Scotland by 7 wickets. India achieved the target comfortably with over 6 overs to spare. Pick of the batsmen was Gautam Gambhir who played till the end to make an impressive 85 runs.

Other batsmen also contributed to the run chase with Robin Uthappa scoring 55 and Yuvraj Singh making a swashbuckling 38. India won the toss and elected to bowl first against Scotland. Agarkar started the proceedings for India with a 9 ball first over.
