Educomp buys 51 per cent in AuthorGen Tech

New Delhi, Aug 17 (UNI) Education services firm Educomp has acquired 51 per cent in online learning company AuthorGen Technologies Pvt Ltd.

This acquisition will help Educomp to leverage and consolidate its position on online learning by having access to technology competence and student teacher marketplace models.

The platform is equipped with virtual classroom with audio-video communication facilities, a company statement said.

Authorgen Technologies is in the area of web 2.0 platforms for online learning . The portal Wiziq.com connects students and teachers from across the world.
