Hyderabad, Aug 17 (UNI) Noticing a positive change in the attitude of Telangana Regional Congress Coordination Committee (TRCCC) leaders on the formation of Telangana, the BJP will press for introduction of a bill in the Monsoon session of Parliament for carving a separate state out of Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing a press conference here today, BJP State President Bandaru Dattatreya said party national President Rajnath Singh would address a public meeting in the city on September 17, the day Hyderabad state was liberated from Nizam's rule, and give a thrust to the movement for statehood to Telangana, State party leaders would call on former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha L K Advani to raise the issue in Parliament, he added.

Welcoming TRCCC's reported stand that there was no need for constitution of the Second States Reorganisation Commission and that Congress President Sonia Gandhi should take a decision without any further delay, senior BJP leader and former Union Minister of State for Home Ch Vidyasagar Rao said the Congress had taken the BJP's support for passage of the bill for revival of the Legislative Council in the wake of strong opposition from the Marxists.

''The bill for creation of Telangana could be easily formed if Ms Gandhi makes up her mind,'' he said.

Alleging that injustice had been meted out to Telangana youth ever since Hyderabad state was merged with Andhra state, Mr Rao sought constitution of a separate Public Service Commission for the Telangana region and recruit 10,000 Telangana graduates into Government service.
