BJP is free to sever tie: Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai, Aug 17 (UNI) Reacting sharply to BJP Maharashtra president Nitin Gadkari's contention that party chief Rajnath Singh had not conveyed any ''desire'' about continuation of the alliance to Mr Bal Thackeray, Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray has said the BJP is free to sever the 23-year-old tie.

Mr Thackeray is supposed to have made this statement to certain section of the press.

Dr Gorhe, while talking to UNI, said Uddhav Thackeray, when asked to comment on Mr Gadkari's statement, remarked that the BJP was free to sever the ties.

UNI
