Varanasi, Aug 17 (UNI) Striking phenomenal success, at least 52 pass outs and researchers from the Faculty of Law of Banaras Hindu University here have cracked the 26th Bihar Judicial Services Examination 2005, the results of which were declared recently.

''At least 52 of our pass outs between 1998 and 2005 have been selected for 318 vacant posts of Bihar Judicial Services. This is the biggest success for our students in recent years as prior to this in 2004, more than 20 students from this faculty were selected for the Uttar Pradesh Judicial Services'', distinguished BHU Law Faculty professor B C Nirmal said here today.

''The number can even be higher as many others who have been selected in the Bihar Judiciary Exam could also have passed out from our institution'', Prof Nirmal claimed.

The long list of BHU pass outs who have grabbed 52 posts of the Bihar Judicial Services following the interview held between August 1 and August 8 last, is led by Akshay Kumar Singh who has attained the top rank followed by Chanchal Tiwari (fourth rank), Shashikant (8th), Nitish (10th), Vikas Singh (33rd), Rakesh Kumar (37th), Dharmendra Singh (82nd), Kumar Madhvendra (133rd), Sharad Chandra Kumar (186), Vivek Rai (189th), Dipanshu Srivastava (221st), Vipin Bihari Rai (228th) and Divejendra Kumar (262nd). Among the 52 successful candidates, Rakesh Kumar and Dharmendra Singh have already been selected for the Uttaranchal Judicial Services along with three other college mates including Pratibha Tiwari, Pradip Kumar Mani and Aniruddh Bhatt.

''The joy cannot be explained in words and needs grand celebration at our Faculty. We have proved that pass outs from BHU Law Faculty are the best in the country'', said Rakesh Singh and Vivek Rai, two researchers at the Law Faculty.

''Our students who will now serve as Junior Division Judges/Judicial Magistrate (First) in various parts of Bihar have given a befitting reply to the premier national law schools of the country by cracking phenomenal success in limited resources'', Prof Nirmal maintained.
