Astronaut cuts short spacewalk due to cut glove
HOUSTON, Aug 15 (Reuters) A spacewalking astronaut was ordered to return to the International Space Station today when he discovered a cut in his glove, a NASA official said.
Astronaut Rick Mastracchio was returning to the space station airlock immediately, mission commentator Kyle Herring said. NASA said the move was a precaution and the astronaut was not in immediate danger.
Mastracchio and fellow astronaut Clay Anderson were on the third spacewalk of shuttle Endeavour's mission to the space station.
