Nagaland Assembly Session from Sept 18
Kohima, Aug 15: The next session of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly will begin here from September 18. Addressing the people after hoisting the national Tricolour here today, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio said the construction of the New Assembly Secretariat Complex, which was inaugurated on April 25 this year, had been completed.
He announced that the next session of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, beginning from September 18, will be held at the New Assembly Hall inside the New Assembly Secretariat.
He also said the construction of the Nagaland commissioner's office was also completed with a total cost of Rs 6.37 crores and was inaugurated on August 1.
He added that the construction of various state guest houses at New Delhi and Mumbai were ongoing, while the Nagaland House at Kolkata would be completed by the end of this year.
