'Flag bomb' seized in Jammu & Kashmir

Jammu, Aug 15: Security forces seized a ''flag bomb'' and averted a terror plan to trigger blast on the Independence Day at Banihal in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district, official sources today said.

The flag, with which an explosive material had been fixed, was seized by security forces from Panchal area in Banihal tehsil last night, source said.

Security forces have launched a search operation in the area to nab the militants making 'flag explosive devices'.
