TN: CBI raids MFL CMD residence documents seized
Chennai, Aug 15: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Anti-Corruption Bureau officials raided the house and office premises of Madras Fertilisers Limited (MFL) Chairman and Managing Director Sukumar N Oommen last night for allegedly amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Highly placed sources in CBI said here today that the raids were conducted simultaneously at the Chennai residence of Oomen, his office at suburban Manali and his house at Kalloor in Kochi.
Several incriminating documents were seized during the raids, which followed allegations of financial irregularities against him.
