Air Force Commanders Conclave from tomorrow

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 15 (UNI) Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal F H Major will inaugurate the Air Force Commanders Conclave here tomorrow.

This is the first time that a Conclave is being held here, which indicates the growing strategic importance of the Southern Air Command, a release said here.

The Conclave would be attended by Vice Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal B N Gokhale and 16 Air Marshals including that of Air Force Commanders of all seven Air Commands.

The conclave would review technological aspects, Induction and Training of manpower, salient aspects of strategy and doctrine of IAF.

The last IAF conclave was held at Srinagar.
