Two flights delayed as AEG resorts to flash strike

Mumbai, Aug 14 (UNI) The Aviation Employees' Guild today went on a flash strike to press for their pending demands, including revision of HRA and CCA.

According to AI sources, the international flights were on schedule till 1430 hrs but later two flights were delayed.

A release issued by Air India said a majority of the wage issues had already been settled with the Unions.

The Guild has not given any notice of the strike and is not supposed to disrupt operations by adopting such 'unethical means', Air India said.

''We do not expect this from them and would therefore urge them to immediately withdraw the strike and resume work'', the release added.
