Sambalpur, Aug 14 (UNI) In yet another shocking incident three minor children were found murdered today near Tukurla village under Bhatli police station, 12 km from Baragarh, the district's headquarter.

Police said Tukurla villagers first saw the bodies, including a that of a girl, in a barren open land just 100 metres away from the Bargarh-Bhattli road.

The girl was around 15-years-old, while the two boys were in the age group of 12 and 8 respectively.

Police suspected that the children were murdered somewhere else and their bodies were thrown there.

This was the third such incident in the area after the murder of three school children in two separate incidents a few days back under Baragarha and Attabira police station area.

The bodies have not been identified yet, police said adding that they found a pair of slippers of an aged man, a pesticide packet and some foods from the spot.

However, there were strangulation marks on the neck of one deceased, District Superintendent of Police Sanjiv Panda said.

Mr Panda said the miscreants might have kept the pesticide and food to mislead the police.
