National Highway blocked

Narsinghpur, MP, Aug 14 (UNI) Movement of heavy vehicles on National Highway No 26 at Kareli in Narsinghpur district was stopped after a part of a bridge on the road was damaged due to heavy rains, official sources said today.

Repair work had started immediately after a part of the bridge damaged yesterday. As a precautionary measure, only two-wheelers and car were allowed to ply on the road at present.

The National Highway No 26 stretches from Jhansi to Lakhnadaun.

Drivers were being advised to either wait for complete repair or take alternate route for their destination.
