Monsoon weakens over MP
Bhopal, Aug 14 (UNI) With the Southwest Monsoon weakening over Madhya Pradesh, downpours are likely to be restricted to some places in the state's eastern and northern parts -- Rewa, Jabalpur and Indore divisions -- over the next couple of days.
''A low pressure area has weakened over Orissa and West Bengal,'' said a Regional Meteorological Centre official.
The state capital witnessed drizzles today. Isolated overnight thundershowers were recorded in Hoshangabad, Sagar and Bhopal divisions while downpours lashed Rewa, Jabalpur and Indore divisions. The figures wre Bhopal 2 cm; Rewa, Satna, Umaria and Amarwada 1 cm each.
