Man poisons wife on suspicions of infidelity

Mumbai, Aug 14 (UNI) A man forcefully administered poison to his wife on suspicions of infidelity at Borivali yesterday, police said today.

The victim, Yogita (26) works in a private firm. Her husband Dilip Barut (30), who is HIV positive had been harassing her mentally and physically for the past three years, police said.

Last evening when Yogita came back from office, Dilip physically assaulted her and thereafter forcefully made her take a white-coloured poisonous substance.

Yogita has been admitted to the Bhagwati Hospital, police added.
