Tirupati, Aug 14 (UNI) Opposing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's statement that he was not aware of the land commission structure and guidelines, CPI(M)State Secretary B V Raghavulu today said the left parties had already submitted the rules and regulations of the land commission to the Chief Minister.

Officially launching the state-wide anti-repression week today to gear up the public for the second phase of land struggle slated to resume from August 22 here, Mr Raghavulu said Dr Reddy, who came to power with the support of the left parties and the poor, was ''telling lies'' when the CPI(M) demanded constitution of a land commission on the lines of the women commission and human rights commission.

He alleged that once the land commission came into effect, the landlords, whose support was needed for the Congress, would be the first affected and due to this the government was delaying the constitution of land commission.
