Kerala holds colourful boat race

Alleppey, Aug 11: The annual snake boat race in Kerala on Saturday attracted a large number of tourists, including many from abroad. Over 50 boats of small and big sizes including 18 snake boats participated in the 55th Nehru Trophy boat race at the Punammada lake in Alleppey district. The race is organized on the second Saturday in the month of August every year.
