Freedom fighter Krishnamurthy no more

Bangalore, Aug 14 (UNI) Veteran freedom fighter and noted journalist H S Krishnamurthy died here today.

He was 81.

Mr Krishnamurthy, who had partcipated in the Freedom Movement, was well known for his political reporting.

He had worked with Janavani-Prajamatha, Tayinadu, Kannada Prabha and Samyukta Karnataka, all vernacular dailies.

He was associated with founding the Karnataka Working Journalists Union and Karnataka Journalists Cooperative Union.
