Fire in Gazipur Power station

New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) Fire broke out in the Gazipur Power Station here early this morning, badly damaging a transformer.

No casualties or injuries was reported so far.

Fire service received a call at 0552 hrs. Eight fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the blaze, fire service sources said.

Power supply in some parts of East Delhi might be affected during the day due to the accident, Power Station sources said.
