Explosion derails Russian train, 10 injured-agencies
MOSCOW, Aug 13 (Reuters) At least 10 people were injured when an explosion caused several carriages of a passenger train travelling between Moscow and St Petersburg to come off the rails, news agencies reported today, citing officials.
''As a result of an explosion ... several carriages from passenger train No 166 came off the rails,'' Russian Railways said in a statement, agency RIA reported.
It was not immediately clear what caused the explosion.
An Emergencies Ministry spokesman said there was no news of fatalities and the 10 injured people were receiving medical attention, Interfax reported.
