Eunuchs clash in court complex, two seriously hurt

Ambala, Aug 14 (UNI) Two eunuchs were seriously hurt and many others were injured after two rival groups involved in a legal battle clashed in the court complex here today.

Two eunuchs were referred to the PGI Chandigarh after they sustained serious head injuries when rival groups of Ambala City and Ambala Cantonment, led by their leaders Shabnam and Indira, freely used sharp-edged weapons and stones against each other.

Chamber of a lawyer was also damaged and a few lawyers and others were hit with stones during the violent fight which continued for almost half-an-hour.

Later some eunuchs alleged that members of rival group had snatched their ornaments and mobile sets.

The rival groups are involved in a court case after Ambala City eunuchs lodged complaint against their rivals in Ambala Cantonment for congratulatory forced charges from the households blessed with sons and marriage occasions.

Both the groups had earlier also with each other following which Police filed case in the court. Members of both groups had come to attend the court on hearing of the case today.
