Essar's Vadinar refinery re-starts operation
New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) After bad weather owing to heavy rains had hit production at Essar Oil's refinery in Vadinar, Gujarat, the Ruia's-owned company today restarted crude processing.
The restart was delayed as the company could not berth a crude tanker due to incessent rains, company officials said.
Prior to shutdown, the refinery was operating at 1,50,000 barrels per day (bpd) and it is likely to operate at full capacity of 2,10,000 bpd from October when the additional facilities are up and running.
