Daliths demand internal reservation

Gulbarga, Aug 14 (UNI) Dalits took out a semi-nude procession in the city, demanding internal reservation among the Scheduled Castes in Karnataka here today.

The members, belonging to Dalit Jana Jagruthi, also staged a demonstration in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner and submitted a memorandum.

Mr Rokappa Kamble, the Convenor of the organisation, alleged that only ''powerful'' categories were listed in the Scheduled Caste segment.

''Internal reservations should be enforced to set right the injustice,'' he added.
