BJP to increase its party strength before Panchayat poll

Kolkata, Aug 14 (UNI) The West Bengal BJP would launch a massive drive to increase its party strength in the state before the coming Panchayat election.

Talking to newspersons, BJP state secretary Rahul Sinha said here today that barring the CPI(M), the party will go for an alliance with other political parties in the election, slated for next year.

He said the BJP would organise several rallies in the state after the Durga Puja to be addressed by party's Central leaders.

" We would also organise rally and demonstration from the coming week against the price hike of essentials, he stated.

The state district committee meeting would be held on August 25 and 26 at Malda, he informed.
