5 held for dacoity at cop's house; booty seized

Bulandshahr, Aug 14 (UNI) Five persons have been arrested in connection with the August 9 dacoity at the house of a police inspector here.

The booty was also seized, Police Superintendent (City) O P Srivastava today said.

On being tipped-off, Arvind, Kanhaiyya, Farhat, Babu and Som Dutt were nabbed in Syana area.

Arvind had worked as a domestic help for Vikas Rastogi, the cop, for 23 yrs.

He hatched the robbery plan with his aides and decamped with Rs one lash in cash and jewellery estimated at Rs 80,000.

A hunt for other accused was on.
