Three scribes manhandled in Kerala

Kannur, Aug 13 (UNI) Three scribes were manhandled by suspected CPI(M) workers while they were travelling in their vehicle here today.

Malayala Manorama channel reporter V J Mohammed Nowfel, K Arun Ezhuthachan (Malayala Manorama reporter) and N Sangeeth (Malayala Manorama channel cameraman) were manhandled, as the scribes were returning in their vehicle after covering a public function. The incident occurred, as the vehicle got stranded in a rally organised by the pro-CPM Kerala State Karashaka Thozhilali Union to the Head Post Office here. A group of CPI (M) activists asked them to steer the vehicle away to clear the road for other vehicles behind it.

As they expressed their inability to move forward due to the traffic snarl, a group of suspected CPI(M) activists manhandled them.
