Hyderabad, Aug 13 (UNI) Dismissing as ''politically-motivated'' the stir for land by the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the stir only exposed TDP leader's ''frustration'' at the all round development being witnessed by the state during the Congress regime.

Addressing a press conference here the Chief Minister took strong objection to the TDP's ''threat'' to mobilise the poor for a dharna in front of his house and not allow sale of government lands.

He said it was the previous TDP government which had promulgated a government order for the sale of government lands to take up developmental projects.

''The administration is a continuous process. If the gentleman, who was the Chief Minister for eight years and eight months, did, then it is right and if I do then it is wrong. What is this attitude,'' Dr Reddy lamanted.

TDP thought about people when elections were round the corner, while the Congress government started fulfilling its promises from day one, he claimed.

He said 20 lakh houses were constructed in the first phase of the INDIRAMMA programme and added that Bihar has been trailing far behind with 3.11 lakh houses followed by West Bengal (1.28 lakh houses), Uttar Pradesh (1.25 lakh), Orissa (79,000), Maharashtra (78,000), Gujarat (65,000), Madhya Pradesh (54,000), Karnataka (49,000) and Tamil Nadu (27,000).
