Flag insult: Chhattisgarh HC asks Centre to reply

Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Aug 13 (UNI) The Chhattisgarh High Court today directed the Centre and state government to respond in ten days to a Mahasamund-resident journalist's plea alleging that the National Flag was displayed wrongly on ministers' vehicles.

Acting Chief Justice Jagdeesh Bhalla and Justice Sunil Kumar Sinha also directed the petitioner to provide suggestions.

The plea prayed for a ban on plastic tricolours that were disrespectfully discarded after events.
