Briton stabbed to death in America
LONDON, Aug 13 (Reuters) A Welsh man has been stabbed to death while on holiday in the United States, police in Cardiff said today.
South Wales police said 37-year-old Paul Lavern Ritch was stabbed in the chest as he tried to intervene in an altercation in New Jersey in the early hours of yesterday morning.
An officer from the South Wales police informed the man's family of his death on behalf of the New Jersey state police.
Enquiries are continuing.
