Top HuM commander among 4 killed, plan to cause blast foiled in JK
Srinagar, Aug 12 (UNI) A top commander of the Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HuM), two militants of Pakistan based Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) and a Special Police Officer (SPO) were killed while security forces foiled a militant plan to cause car blast and detonate a powerful IED in Jammu and Kashmir last night.
Security forces and police in a joint operation killed a LeT militant at Hanzulla in south Kashmir this afternoon.
Police also killed a militant, Fayaz Naikoo in an encounter at Damhalhanjipora in south Kashmir this evening.
