SP leader, block pramukh sent to jail

Mahoba, Aug 12 (UNI) A local court here today sent a block pramukh and his two kins, including a SP leader, to 14 days judicial custody on charges of Dalit harassment and extortion.

Karbai block pramukh Rajendra Mishra, his sibling and SP leader Narendra and nephew Ram Karan had surrendered before Judicial Magistrate yesterday, who sent them to 14 days judicial custody.

In a complaint two months back, Bhandara gram pradhan Lakhan Kori had alleged the accused held him captive and coerced him to sign a blank cheque.
