'Southern Slender train' to be operational in 2008

Hyderabad, Aug 12 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Tourism, Information and Public Relations Minister A Ramanarayana Reddy today said the proposed 'Southern Slender Train Project, connecting all southern states, would be completed by the end of 2008.

Speaking to reporters here on the sidelines of Travel Tourism Fair (TTF), organised by the state government and various travel agencies, Mr Reddy said the slender train would connect all southern states enabling expansion of tourism activities.
