Man held in US homosexual case

Kancheepuram, Aug 12 (UNI) Police today arrested a 32-year-old man here on the charges of helping a US national procure youth for in immoral activities.

Police said Srinivasan procured youth for Miles Patrick (54) who made CDs showing homosexual relations with them. One of the CDs was seized from his (Srinivasan) possession.

A painter and resident of New York, Patrick was arrested yesterday morning for indulging in homosexual activities with local youth in the tourist hotspot of Mamallapuram of this district.

The arrest followed a complaint from Desamuthu (24) who said the US painter forced him to have sex with him.

Patrick had come here as a tourist to enjoy Pallava architecture and shore temples of Mamallapuram. A camera, two foreign books, two DVDs and his passport were seized from him.
