Kidnappings increased during Nitish Kumar government: RJD
Patna, Aug 12 (UNI): The RJD today alleged that kidnapping has increased in Bihar.
RJD spokesman Shakeel Ahmad Khan claimed that during the Nitish Kumar regime about 12,945 kidnappings were reported and 41,634 people were killed across in Bihar. His claim refuting the government's data given to a court saying some 4849 kidnapping cases were registered across the state in past one year.
Referring to life sentence to 14 convicts at Logain massacre in Bhagalpur riot in 1989, he said the punishment was not enough and the state government should appeal to Patna High Court for more stringent punshment.
