Bhujbal visits victims of Nasik blast

Nashik, Aug 12: Maharashtra PWD Minister and Guardian Minister of Nashik district Chhagan Bhujbal yesterday visited the two victims of the Teesgaon detonator blast.

The four kids, students of Nashik Zilla Parishad's Primary School at Teesgaon, were injured in an accident yesterday when they connected wires of a detonator to a battery cell. The detonator had been brought to school by another student Roit Mahale.

Two of the four students Roshan Bagul and Rishikesh Gandurde have been admitted to a private hospital here.

Bagul's retina of the right eye was injured in the blast, while Gandurde's fingers of the right hand were badly hurt.

Mr Bhujbal visited the hospital and assured the victims' parents of full help in their treatment.

The Minister was accompanied by District Collector S Chokkalingam, Zilla Parishad CEO Dnyaneshwar Rajurkar, SP Nikhil Gupte, Resident Dy Collector Ramesh kale, SDO Mahesh Patil and District Health Officer Dhananjay Katkar.
