100 policemen suspended for forged induction

Bareilly, Aug 12 (UNI) About 100 policemen have been suspended within a week in Rohelkhand for obtaining their appointments on forged documents.

IG (Bareilly zone) Gurubachan Lal today told UNI, at least 100 constables had been suspended after being found guilty of getting into police services through fake certificates and other fraudalent means.

On a complaint of irregularities in the induction process of the department last year, an inquiry was made in which the services of guilty policemen of Bareilly, Moradabad, Rampur, Bijnaur, Jyotibaphoole, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit and Budaun districts were terminated.
