UP: Woman kills son, throws body in river

Sultanpur, Aug 11: In a shocking incident, a woman slit the throat of her toddler in Peeparpur area of the district.

Sunita a resident of village Ismailpur cut the throat of her three-year-old son Anurag and threw the body into Bhadar-Dhorhara river.

Later, police fished out the corpse from the river and arrested the killer mother.

On interrogation, the accused confessed to murdering her son.

She was fed up of prolonged harassment by her husband Suresh Prajapati and in-laws, police said yesterday.
