Temperature shoots several degrees above normal

Kolkata, Aug 10 (UNI) Kolkata and its adjoining areas today experienced humid and uncomfortable weather with the temperatures constantly on the rise.

The Alipore Met office recorded a maximum temperature of 35.3 degrees Celsius and minimum of 28.6 degrees Celsius, both three degrees above normal.

A high humidity of 94 per cent made life miserable.

The Met office forecasts a partly cloudy sky with few spells of rain or thunder showers in some areas.
