Scribes stage protest against assault on Taslima Nasreen

Bangalore, Aug 10 (UNI) Members of Mysore District Journalists Association and Mysore Reporters Guild today staged a demonstration to protest against the attack on Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen by AIMIM legislators in Hyderabad yesterday.

The agitating journalists demanded action against the AIMIM MLAs.

Reporters Guild President K Shivakumar urged the Centre to take necessary action against the MLAs.

Later, the scribes submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Selvakumar.
