First eyewitness in 2005 twin blast case deposed

New Delhi, Aug 10 (UNI) First eyewitness in 2005 Liberty and Satyam blast cases in Delhi deposed in a city court today.

Avinash Kumar, deposed in the court of Additional Session Judge B R Kedia, told the court that he was sitting on seat number 17 for the screening of Sunny Deol starrer ''Jo Bole So Nihal'' when the bomb exploded in front of him after which he became unconscious.

The twin blasts rocked Delhi on May 22, 2005 in which one person was killed and over 70 people were injured.

Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) chief Jagtar Singh Hawara who was given death sentence in the Beant Singh assassination case, and seven others are the main accused in the case.
