Computer edu at school level to introduce in Tripura

Agartala, Aug 10: The Tripura government has decided to introduce computer education as a separate subject at school level.

About 249 schools across the state would be taught computer courses as an optional subject for the students of class VI to X.

"With the implementation of satellite education through edu-sat in the remote parts of the state, computer education has now become an important kit for imparting education", official sources said.
